Oceanique

Greg Rowe and Associates acted as Town Planning consultant for the Oceanique Apartment Development in the Southport Precinct Port Bouvard Estate, Dawesville. The role as Town Planner for the Port Bouvard Development, has extended over almost fifteen years and the Oceanique Apartments is the most significant built form component of the entire estate. The role of the Town Planner as lead consultant and in terms of coordinating all other members of the consultants team included the briefing and managing of Project Architect, Traffic Consultant, Urban and Landscape Designers and other specialist consultants on a “as needed” basis.

Greg Rowe and Associates was responsible for all Statuary Approval Processes, including preparation and lodgement of Town Planning Scheme Amendments (to the City of Mandurah District Zoning Town Planning Scheme); preparation, lodgement and management of outlined development plan and Local Structure Plans and the preparation, lodgement and managing determination of Development Applications.

These roles included all negotiations with the City of Mandurah and its Town Planning staff and elected members (inclusive of presentation to Town Planning Committee and full Council), liaison, negotiation and meetings with the Department of Planning (Western Australian Planning Commission) and site meetings and representations to the Hon. Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. Greg Rowe and Associates has managed the entire Statutory Planning Process for the Oceanique development and is pleased to be associated with the excellent outcome achieved by our Client.
